Shari Furnstahl - Program Director and Artistic Director

Shari Furnstahl is the mother of four children and has been married to Dave for 22 years. She began singing at age 3 and continues to share her voice professionally as a singer and voice teacher. In addition to vocal training with renowned coach Maestro, David Kyle, Shari learned dance and choreography skills through training at The Dance Center of Seattle. Her choreography and stage show production credits include: The Momentum Assembly Program, Follies at the Fifth Avenue, the Applause Broadway Revue, the Silver Spurs Country Western Revue, Encore, Generation X, Act One, The Sugar Plum Kids, and The Singing Nativity. Shari and her husband Dave produce A Victorian Country Christmas at the Puyallup Fair and Events Center. A Victorian Country Christmas was started by Shari’s parents and she is proud to continue this family friendly Christmas tradition!  Shari earned a BA in psychology, a fifth year teaching certification, an endorsement in special education, and a master’s degree in education from the University of Washington. Shari is a special education teacher at Rainier Middle School in Auburn. Shari’s four children have participated in recreational and competitive dance since the age of three.
